Although funding for the Ingenuity Programme, aimed at bringing academic expertise to small and medium-sized businesses in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire will be ending in March 2011, the popular Ingenuity breakfast events will be continuing.

The theme for 2011 will be "Business Trends" and Ingenuity will be presenting speakers from Nottingham University Business School to talk about what the future holds for business from a range of perspectives, kicking off on 25 January with a session around family-owned businesses.

These sessions will include the usual great networking and we'll be encouraging business owners to get more actively involved.  So if you've got a family-run business and would like to share your take on what works then Ingenuity will be delighted to hear from you - you can contact Francine Pickering in the first instance with your ideas.
