Does your website make the grade?

Earlier this evening a I ran the new Clarity Marketing website through the Website Grader site to check is against the 50+ parameters it uses to assess a website's marketing effectiveness.  It scored 76% which I thought was not bad at all for a new site (albeit with a well-edtablished domain name).

Along with the score comes a report with recommendations of actions to take to improve it.  Just half an hour's focused attention on the site raised the score to 83% which I'm more than pleased with.  Other recommended actions (such as building more inbound links) will take longer to show an effect so I'll be checking again in a few weeks to see if it improves further.

Just go to the Website Grader website to check your own site's score. Or download the Clarity Marketing Toolbar which has this site and plenty of other useful ones on it.

If you'd like some help integrating your web strategy with your overall marketing strategy (or, indeed, developing one or both), contact Clarity Marketing to see how we can help.  PS We do copy writing too.

This is a fantastic resource, thanks for posting it Francine. It's so quick to do and the results are really helpful and have told me things I didn't realise I could even do! Fabulous.
