Your month-by-month excuse plan for Not Doing Anything

Your month-by-month excuse plan for Not Doing Anything

Some people can always find an excuse to Not Do Anything.  Often, it's put down to all manner of things that are outside their control and that "everybody" is subject to - which makes Doing Anything pointless.  Here's a month-by-month guide to some of the real excuses I've heard from business owners for Not Doing Anything.

January: No one is geared up yet; they're all still recovering from Christmas.

February: It's dull, it's wet, no one wants to go out to do anything.

March: It's Easter.

April: It's Easter (if it wasn't already).

May: Too many bank holidays and probably a half-term.

June: Everyone's getting ready for the summer holidays.

July: Everyone's on holiday.

August: Everyone's on holiday.  Yes, that's right, everyone goes on holiday for two months. The whole world grinds to a halt.

September: No one's geared up yet; they're all still recovering from the summer holiday (think of it as a practice run for next January).

October: It's nearly Christmas.

November: It's really nearly Christmas.

December: It's Christmas.

Of course, not every business owner is looking for an excuse.  Plenty are keen to get on with growing their businesses at any time of the year and look on those times when business slows down a bit, say the summer months, to plan and get properly geared up for the time when everyone else is back from their hols and have not yet succumbed to the lure of mulled wine!

Clarity Marketing is open for business all summer so, if you're one of those business owners who wants to get stuck into developing a marketing strategy to see you into next year and beyond and would like some professional marketing advice, please get in touch.
